I graduated with honors from a formal university, where I tutored fellow classmates; however, I gained most of my tutoring and teaching experience overseas, in a universal classroom. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all children are capable of learning, but many experience barriers that inhibit the learning process. My strategy is to identify these barriers, remove them whenever possible, or otherwise embrace them and work within the circumstances to achieve the best possible outcome. My background in counseling and psychology has proven invaluable in the classroom and in collaborating with parents and educators.
