I am eager to get back to teaching. I love to work with children and I know it is a gift from above. I use many hands on techniques to help my students learn. I also observe my students to see what technique of teaching reaches them best. I use the method that is needed.
After, graduation I was an Ed Tech III. Assisting in reading and math. From there I went on to teach Kindergarten at Coastal Christian School in Waldoboro. I taught there for 7 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer working as a collaborative team with teaching staff/specialists. I believe most of my success comes from continued conversations and ongoing discussions about best practices during staff meetings and professional development workshops. I believe if we can integrate content with cross-curricular themes and skills such as writing across the curriculum in all subjects, not just during the language arts block, All students can access prior knowledge and reframe their thinking when appropriate. Once we establish accountability through state standards, we need to teach one child at a time, at their own level and pace and eliminate lessons that do not move students toward meeting the standards. To whom it may concern, I have taught as a classroom teacher, a Title I teacher, and as a special education teacher. All of these experiences have given me skills I use as a teacher.
