I have been fluent in Spanish for more than 30 years. I was a bilingual (Spanish) 4th grade teacher for the last 7 years, as well as an ESL teacher for kindergarten - 6th grades. The last two years I have been a 1st/2nd grade bilingual (Spanish) teacher. Every summer for the many years I either taught summer school or at the local museum. Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age.
