My teaching style emphasizes the differences between children, especially with regards to learning styles. Different children comprehend and understand in unique ways - while one may understand best from tactile or visual demonstrations, others learn best simply by hearing. Even within the same student, certain concepts are best understood in atypical ways. I firmly believe that as an educator, my job is to be flexible and creative in devising appropriate teaching methods for each child - what works for one will not always work for another.
