I am a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. I obtained a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I have always had a good understand of the sciences and mathematics. I have learned good written skills due to many research papers and laboratory reports. Throughout college I was a laboratory assistant for a physical chemistry lab and helped prepare the chemicals for the organic chemistry labs.

Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I just recently graduated and I can't see myself not helping someone learn and love math. Math isn't a subject that everyone loves but I believe that can change with the right teacher. I belief that conceptual understanding is the foundation of learning. Teaching kids to solve a specific problem that they can't do doesn't accomplish much, in my opinion. Going back to the concept and helping them really understand what is going on, either physically or mathematically, will not only help them with the problem they have, but give them a basis for future knowledge.
I have tutored math, chemistry and physics both officially and unofficially throughout most of my undergraduate education. My BS in physics, as well as my work in an atmospheric physics lab, has given me a strong mathematical and physical science background.
