A Little Bit About Me...

The majority of my teaching and tutoring experience has been in English and Math. During college, I worked in the on-campus tutoring center for 4 years, focusing primarily on Math. After graduating, I spent 4 years in China teaching English and training others to teach English as a Foreign Language. I also took on a number of private English tutoring jobs during those years, including several helping students prepare for the essay portion of the SAT exam. After returning to the States, I worked as a substitute teacher at the middle and high school level, filling in for whatever subject was needed. I currently read and score essays for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam.
