I have tutored on and off for the past 12 years. I have tutored people from 5th grade to age 50. I have much experience tutoring any type of math up to Algebra II. I have also tutored in Spanish on numerous occasions. I have lived in Mexico and Costa Rica which has really made my Spanish skills solid. I prefer one on one or a small group no larger than five. I enjoy working with children and always have. I feel my teaching style is more in the Socratic method in that I like to ask them questions until they come to the answer themselves because I feel that increases the retention rate of the subject. I believe that all children can learn, and when a child has difficulty grasping a concept, the teacher must change their technique. I have used a variety of methods when working with children.
