My comments on tutoring Spanish : Received an 'A' in the first two college Spanish courses.

Tutored on TutorSelect.come before a few years back and successfully tutored over ten individual students as well as a couple of group sessions with in between 2 and 4 students. All the students I tutored were either in high school or college. My topic I predominately tutor and that I most enjoy tutoring is mathematics. I've taken Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, all three college Calculus courses, and Differential Equations. I also took both college-level General Chemistry courses and both calculus-based Physics courses. I also was responsible in most of my classes for developing a weekly schedule for tutoring/studying course topics with fellow classmates and friends. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I studied abroad in Argentina for 1 year during my freshman year of undergraduate studies where I learned to speak the Spanish language with fluency as well as taking classes in Spanish grammar and vocabulary. Also during my undergraduate studies, I received a minor in Spanish and had another opportunity to study abroad for a summer in Honduras, where I learned about Honduran history and worked as a teacher assistant in a Honduran elementary school. I have also traveled to Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador working as a Spanish translator for mission trips with my local church. I tutored an elementary school student in his math class and then that same school year in the Spring semester I helped out a college student with his pre-Calculus course. This was in 2013-2014 school year and it was a payment at my own discretion and on my own. I also have had experience working in an administration position in Human Resources area and it certainly helped me in organizational skills and communication skills.
