I have always picked things up quickly, more quickly than my peers. My peers have often come to me to ask for my help in those areas. I also see how to apply what I have learned to original problems because I see connections and hold a deeper understanding of the material. My double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a mino in Mathematics was full of its fair share of difficult material, and I was almost always able to help my peers, as well as younger students, through their problems.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a youth mentor with YouthFriends, I have worked one-on-one with students in reading and general life skills. I am current enrolled in Rockhurst University's Master in Education program to obtain a degree and elementary teaching certificate. I have completed over 25 graduate course hours that include methods in teaching math and science.
