I graduated in December 2014 from Iowa State University with a Civil Engineering degree- 3.5 GPA honor student. Before Iowa State I went to the University of Iowa for two years to play basketball. I understand that everyone learns differently. I generally prefer a more hands on approach. I attended a Montessori middle school and found it most effective. However, the goal is find what works best for the student.

I have always been successful at teaching children to understand and believe that they can learn anything from hitting a baseball to doing algebra. I discovered the value of education when I was a junior in college. I discovered that I wanted to provide students with the educational support that I never received, or I never took advantage of. I started majoring in biology when I was accepted at The Metropolitan State College of Denver.
