I have always placed a high value on education, and, having worked full time to put myself through college, have developed an even greater appreciation for students who have the desire to learn. During my undergraduate career, and upon the recommendation of several of my professors, I developed an informal study/tutoring program where classmates and I could get together to go over the week’s lecture and homework, as well as study for future exams. I felt a great sense of satisfaction any time a classmate was able to not only learn the material, but conceptually understand it. A Little Bit About Me...

I had a wonderful experience attending MSMC.I learned a wide variety of skills and techniques throughout the Psychology teachings as well as about the intriguing study of Psychology itself. There were many opportunities to examine and research philosophies and perform actual research as a team. I had the experience of learning a long side other students, however, I did tutor other fellow classmates at various times throughout my educational career in many venues.
I truly enjoy presenting people with ideas and having them gain the knowledge and capacity to gain the intended results. I have taught and mentored people within my work setting as well. A Little Bit About Me...

I attained my first degree in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University in 2003. After working in that field for a few years, however, I chose to change my career path. I then went back to school at the City College of New York to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am happy to say that I am graduating this month (December 2010), and have not regretted pursuing this second degree at all. Through my college experiences I have completed over 220 credits in many subjects, with my strongest in the math, sciences and engineering.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a dedicated teacher, as the old adage goes 'once a teacher, always a teacher'. I taught English Language and Grammar up to pre college level. I usually do a pre assessment of my students to determine their level of functionality, the same techniques I used with my own children. I do not give up on my students, every child can learn. It is up to us as teachers to find ways to deal with the individual difference in each child and take that to the next level.
I have had substantive experience as a trained teacher of English and a Teacher Librarian. I was awarded the Best Teacher accolade for both areas of study when I graduated from the Mico Teachers College. The use of age appropriate instructional materials and classroom activity have aided in achieving success.
