I have been teaching going on 12years ages 2-9 years olds. I have worked with and without co-teachers to enhance learning in the classroom. I worked three years with first graders in a private school seting which followed all state board of education requirements. The last 8years I've worked with preschoolers from two through VPK. I have attended a vast majority of trainings and workshops that have helped enhance my knowledge and teaching. I incoporate all that I have learned into teaching to make it successful for students. In 2011-12 I worked with a tutoring company through Hillsborough County tutoring students in reading from grades 1-6. The past two years I have worked at a Charter School teaching Kindergarten for Hillsborough County. I love teaching phonics! There are so many activities that you can do with children to help them learn letter sounds. One year when teaching kindergarten I made an alphabet cookbook with my students!
