I have tutored students of all ages, from elementary school to adults. I have taught at the elementary level, and substitute taught kindergarten through high school, but I most enjoy tutoring one-on-one. For the last two years, I have tutored adults studying to earn their GED, primarily in math, and over the past six years, I have taught the Microsoft Office Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past two years, I have been teaching journal-writing and college classes at the Louisville Comprehensive Care MS Center. Prior to that, I have tutored students ages 7-40 in a various set of topics, primarily math and business subjects.
My preferred style of teaching is student-lead. I believe in the Socratic method, but appreciate following a curriculum, as well. I volunteer at a Montessori school and I know that getting learners of all ages interested and excited about a topic is the key to retention.
