I graduated from Pisgah High School where I was in the Advanced program. I was required to enroll in the Advanced Math Program (Pre-cal) and Physics. I was also a part of the Math Team for four years and the Beta Club for eight years. As a student at Northeast, I earned a A.S. in Industrial Electronics, as well as, a Long Certificate in Electronics. I've been tutoring my brother-n-law in math for the three years while enrolled at the ITT-Technical Institute in Madison, AL. Patient, understanding, and thorough would be the three words I would use to describe my teaching style. I am patient, because I understand that with a subject like Math, one has to know that it may take a great amount of time for the student to fully grasp the subject matter. Receiving a BS in Mathematics Education has helped my mind to expand mathematically and in my teaching methods. I believe I was adequately prepared to teach through my education and my first couple years teaching. I have also tutored in math, history, spanish, and computers to all ages through colleges and independent tutoring.
I have always had a love for teaching, tutoring, and mentoring people of all ages.
