More About This Tutor...

I believe that all children have the ability to learn effectively. It is just a matter of understanding how that child specifically learns best, is how to provide the best possible teaching method. If the child is surrounded by positivity throughout their education as well as constructive criticism, the child will understand their potential and move forward.
As a recent college graduate, I was driven to study engineering and music to create a balanced lifestyle. I have earned a bachelor of science with a major in engineering science and a minor in music. The ability to counteract my math and science studies with the arts is beneficial for the body and mind. My off-campus work-study job during my college career included tutoring at an after school program for children in elementary school to middle school in the subjects of math, science, and english.

As an engineer and thereafter, I mentored many friends, colleagues, and friends of friends with computers. I am familiar with MS Windows, but I plan to learn about MAC PCs soon. I know I can help any user find a better way to operate the computer. I have read reference books and software manuals to educate myself on technology. Also, my engineering background has benefited me in a way that makes learning about new technologies seems to be a natural and quick process.
