As a student at Rollins College, I had the opportunity to serve as a peer mentor to a group of first-year students. I also worked in the writing center and as an editor for a literary journal. My studies in anthropology and experience writing an honors thesis on homelessness taught me to think critically and holistically. I have worked as a summer camp counselor for teenagers (June- August 2008 and 2009) and then as co-director of the camp (2010), a role in which I worked with campers ages six to seventeen. A Little Bit About Me...

I dont have a lot of experience with teaching children in a classroom environment, but I have a 5 year old, that I have to constantly teach different things besides what he learns at school.I have experience training physicians in a complex electronic medical records environment. I had so much fun with this project at the facility I worked with. For me teaching and or training is always exciting, it lets me pass on what I already know, and making sure that the student can learn the most of the experience.
I was brought up by both of my parents, which I am lucky to say they are both teachers. After I was born my mother stayed a housewife, but my father kept on studying, and teaching at many levels.
