I love to help people in the best way I can so they can achieve their goals. I was taught by my professors that everyone learns in different ways. My goal is to help your child achieve success. I explain real-life applications of the subject (i.e., metric system--repair of foreign cars.) I encourage questions and dialogue. I use praise when warranted but am firm on deadlines and honesty. Aware of attention span, I take appropriate breaks or switch to another subject. I remind him to read and follow directions and to check his work over before he hands it in. I believe that in this fast-paced technical age your child needs the best chance possible to compete successfully. Math is fun. Teaching math is more fun. I love playing with numbers and helping children also play with numbers and solve problems in the most easiest manner. I really wonder why does the clock move fast when I am in a math class.
