Hello! Hajimemashite! I recently returned (June 2018) from my study abroad at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, or APU! I studied and lived there for about three years. My major was in Asia Studies and Japanese Culture, Society and Media. I was able to get an equivalent of N3 on the JLPT(Japanese Language Proficiency Test). My teaching style embraces differences among learners to understand why they respond the way they do. As an instructor, I want to understand how members/groups learn and maintain the balance in the classroom. I aided students with learning disabilities who were placed in mainstream academic classrooms and provided one-on-one instruction so they could have a more personalized education experience.
