My academic credentials include a BA from Hanover College and a MBA from the University of Louisville. I have been an Adjunct Professor University of Louisville 1994- 2008. I taught Business Statistics (Management 201) and Operations Management (Management 401). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. I am finishing my Master of Science in Entomology at the University of Nebraska. My unconventional background is what fuels my desire to learn about science. I have a solid understanding of grammar as evident by the more than 300 trade letters, papers, and articles I have authored in my career. As a student of German at Bellarmine University, I was able to learn the German language through immersion experiences in Austria and Germany. I also studied German grammar and literature in depth through classes at Bellarmine. I was a tutor in the Academic Resource Center for two years as I was completing my degree and continued to work with students for a year after my graduation. I enjoy the German language very much and love explaining how it works to students. Though students learn in different ways, practicing both written and conversational German is imperative to be successful in mastering the language.

Continuing education is vital to the success of many engaged in the ever diversifying classroom.
