Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I have twenty hours of graduate work in an MFA in Creative Writing Program and a BA with an English Major at Texas Christian University. I have four poetry publications in national magazines. These are "The Driftwood Review" "Puffin Circus" "The Houston Literary Review" and "quantum poetry magazine." Also, I have a short story published in "Descant: Fort Worth's Journal of Fiction and Poetry" in 2004. I know a lot about creative writing technique and methodology. I've picked up some of these methods from great teachers and professors, but I also stress that to do creative writing well, one has to be true to one's own voice; so that the techniques are there, not as fundamental blueprints, but to help the student find their voice.

My name is Eric Fisher Stone and I graduated with B.A. from Texas Christian University in the summer of 2008. I attended graduate school directly after, and acquired 20 graduate hours and the University of Idaho’s MFA in Creative Writing Program where I taught freshmen composition. Passionate Elementary Education Tutor

I love teaching and I love to see the spark in a child's eye when they finally understand a subject they have struggled with! My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing is one of those seemingly soft skills that requires a very specific set of disciplines and skills. I can help with developing those.

I try to do some explication, and then have the student try some exercises or venture out on their own. In the cases of multiple sessions, I DO assign homefun (as opposed to homework), so that the student will have some experience when next we meet.
I am an experienced graphic and web designer. But in college I thought I was going to be either an English or History Professor, or an Attorney. That's why I studied lots of his History, English, and took the pre-law major Philosophy. I have several year of post-graduate classes as well. I started teaching Graphic Design in 2002, and brought into that Web Design, along with the skills that accompany them - HTML and CSS. I have even designed signs, and love it!
