I was raised on a farm in Iowa and attended school there until I was 13. In Zephyrhills, Fl, I was awarded valedictorian status for the class of '09. At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Daytona Beach, Fl, I am a senior in the Accelerated Master's of Science in Engineering Physics degree program. This is a rigorous five-year program and is focused upon the engineering and physics involved in space systems. I remain in the Honor's Program and on the Dean's List. My comments on tutoring C++ : Taught C++ at 2 local universities plus 3 private institutions. Have also programmed in "C++" for over 20 + years in the private indusry sector.

I am capable of both structured and informal teaching styles depending upon the situation. I find that when smaller increments of course instruction is followed up with the student demonstrating proficiency and comprehension the overall learning experience is maximized. Repetition is normally the best way to comprehend not only the material presented but it allows the student to assimilate the steps and formulas simulataneously.
I possess over 30 years of academic/industry training the areas of mathematics, networking, programming and engineering. Being a first generation student, assisting students to achieve optimum academic excellence has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience. I have a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I have tutored college Mathematics and Physics for almost 2 years. I also have leadership experience as a former represantative in Student Goverment Association and resident advisor.
