I hold a permanent license from the state of Ohio for Grades Kindergarten----8. I taught in the classroom for 18 years and was actively involved in the development of individual courses of study at both above and below grade levels. For 10 years I was employed by my local church as Coordinator of Children's and Family Ministries where I worked extensively with children and families of the congregation both one on one and in groups. Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects!

Columbus Public Schools 1987-1997: During this time period, I taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary level. I then left formal education to stay home with my children. While at home raising my daughters, I did home tutoring from 1989-2006. I then returned to teaching by doing home instruction for Bloom-Carroll (2003-2004)and Fairfield Union (2005). I then did two long-term subbing jobs at Pickerington HS North and Lakeview Junior High School in Pickerington for Intervention Specialists (2006 & 2007). Multiple-subject Tutor: experienced & easy to get along with

I have professionally tutored Math and English as an employee of Ohio University, in a private junior-high and high-school academy, and on an individual basis. I taught a semester of Elementary French at Ohio University in Athens. I am always willing to tutor any subject, but my greatest academic strength lie in language learning.
