Latin is one of my top subjects! I took three years of Latin in high school, and I am currently in my third semester in college.

I try to use various activities and techniques when teaching to keep students interested. This also helps them (and me) to determine the way(s) that they learn best. I also like to ask the students first what they think the answer is or how a problem should be approached before feeding them a solution. I encourage questioning and discussions at every turn. Overall, I want to create a friendly yet effective environment for optimal teaching and learning.
I am a second year student at the Universtiy of Georgia. I taught private violin lessons to middle schoolers from the fall of 2010 through the summer of 2011, and I myself have received seven years of private instruction. I love working with not only the students but the parents as well; this will help the parent(s) have some understanding and can work with child as well. I enjoy working with all types of children; my goal is to help the child and the parent to understand and get the best education that he/she could possilby get. I believe in the no child left behind program. I like to answer a question with a question and get the student to think and answer the question on their own with some supervision. I am a hand on teacher. I like to show them how to do it first and then let the individual ask question and do the next problem.
