Typing Skills is one of my top subjects! My typing skills are very advanced and have been since I was about 11 or 12. I have a GWAM (Gross Words A Minute) of 95. I can type accurately and quickly without making a lot of mistakes and without looking at the keyboard.

When I am tutoring others, I have a very hands on approach. I may offer help and hints, but I don't give away answers, I make people work for their grades. I try to make things interesting or entertaining when I'm tutoring, just so people don't get bored.
I am a High School Senior. I attend J. A. Fair High School in Little Rock, AR. I am a social person and I am really good at interacting with others. I am not self-centered and I help people whenever I can. My goal is really for the person I am tutoring to fully understand the information they are trying to learn. In this way, they can understand the basics and build upon that. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths. Then, really put some hard work into making their weak points better and making their strong points the best they can be. I think that it is best for a student to know how to do their work with AND without a calculator for full understanding in mathematics. When working one on one with a student I practice a few different methods of teaching and whichever one they feel the most comfortable with and I receive the most attentiveness from, is the one that I continue to use. For example, some students prefer that you walk them through a lesson, go over a few practice problems and then let them work on assignments, knowing that they have you to assist them when needed. I started teaching Music in 1984. I taught part-time, temporary while pursuing education goals and working as a professional musician.
