I like to start by getting to know the level that the student is at. From there I make a lesson plan for you. First, I like to show you the subject and then do some practices, like games or real life conversation. I find that it is best to start off with a casual introduction and then increase difficulty from there. I am patient but I expect students to try hard and be engaged in the lesson. I am a native Spanish speaker. I have babysat for children with ages ranging from two to eight years old and I have incorporated Spanish lessons into my caretaking. I also have taught Spanish to adults in a more informal setting with friends from different backgrounds. I received my BS degree in 2007 in pre-medicine. I majored in pre-professional zoology and I have a minor in biochemistry. I also worked at the Talent Development Center as a tutor for biology, botany, chemistry and biochemistry. I have a strong background in all science courses and maintained a 3.87 GPA throughout college. I have been involved in a lot of activities and feel the best way to teach is to relate to the student. As a tutor, I have worked with many different types of students and I found a way to relate the information to something they were interested in.
