I enjoy teaching children and adults of all ages, although most of my experience has come from teaching college age kids. I believe that everyone learns in different ways and one aspect of teaching I enjoy the most is working with someone to find the method of learning that is best for them. As an undergraduate student at Central Washington University, I was self motivated and involved in various activities. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BA in Sociology and BA in Law and Justice. In addition to these two broad areas of studies, I am a McNair Scholars recipient and conducted graduate level research. I have mentored and advised students as an employee in student affairs and as a Teacher's Assistant in the Law and Justice Department. I attended Heritage University for 3.5 years in pursuit of my Nursing degree. I have taken College math, written many college papers, and studied alot of science along the way. I also cordinated a mentor program through YVCC for almost two years. I have recently changed paths and with obtain my BA in criminal justice in less than a year.
