I like to get to know each individual and find out how they learn. From there I can figure out what will work for them and what won't. I have tutored individuals in grades 1-12 in various subject areas. I have been encouraged to pursue English, Writing, and Journalism as professions because of my talent in each area. I have worked in the insurance field for about fourteen years and worked in competitive environments in an actuarial department. I have also ran a small business for more than twelve years. I have a diverse number of experiences so that I can make mathematics practical and live for the student.
