Having always been driven to achieve academic success, I received all A's throughout middle school and high school and was one of my high school valedvictorians. I then received full tuition to the University of Evansville and continued my academic success. My major required my to put in hours before and after the athletic teams practices and I have learned great time management skills as well as study skills. A Little Bit About Me...

My public speaking class is extremely participatory, both so students can gain experience speaking in front of an audience and because this format seems to keep students more interested in the material. My experience teaching children in theatre was also very participatory. I believe that students learn best when they can understand a given concept from several different angles. I also believe that each student is different and that any teacher must tailor her lessons to the individual student's needs. This is especially true of one-on-one tutoring sessions.
