My comments on tutoring ASVAB : Can specifically help with the math and english parts. I like for students to take a timed practice test so that they can become comfortable in taking the test. I like to focus on various techniques as well.

I have been tutoring independently since 2009 but have always liked helping others learn. I am good with math and numbers. Will go the extra mile to make sure the student/client understands that material. I like to provide as much feedback as possible to the student/client and build their confidence while tutoring them. I have worked with students as young as 5 years old teaching them how to count, numbers, etc to working adults in college and graduate school.

Each student must be able to complete assigned math problems as well as explain how and why they chose their math operations. My teaching style for Reading consists of phonics, prefixes, suffixes, context clues, grammar strategies and tips. A Little Bit About Me...

I would love to say that I have only one teaching style but I cannot tell you that. What I can say is that my teaching style will adapt to the student. When you have a student that catches on fast you are able to test their ability to understand what was taught in numerous ways. However for a student that may not grasp a concept as easily a more structured approach may be a more beneficial tool. I am capable of adapting to the student, the goal is for them to understand.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2001.
