I have just graduated high school, and have just finished thirteen years of learning. I have ADD, and have had a semester's worth of interning at the Specialized Language Development Center, working with kids who struggle with reading, writing, and comprehension. Kids brought to the center are usually dyslexic, ADD/ADHD, or have some type of learning disability, however, those without disabilities come for help too, ranging from kindergarden all the way to college level students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I adapt my style to what best fits the student.
I am a mother of four successful children. I taught each of my kids to read before they entered kindergarten. Some of my children have ADD and dyslexia and I am knowlegeable as to the struggles these children have and how to help them achieve their goals. My education and career were centered around writing and communication and I have maintained those skills. I also hav special training and years of experience in tutoring children with learning disabilities.

I believe strongly in teaching students the rules to understanding the lessons being taught,"first",and I love to demonstrate examples on a chalk board. Also, I remind students that there's no such thing as asking a "bad question", so if you don"t understand what's being taught..please ask questions.
