As I attended Asnuntuck Community I volunteered as a math and desktop tutor. I was so well liked the State of Connecticut hired me after graduation where I still work today (Saturdays). I'm near a Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in math. I regularly receive requests through my director at the college for private tutoring. I prefer the whiteboard and technology such as calculators and online practice software.

I was also strongly considered for a MASH program here at the University, or "Math and Science Help", as a Section Leader/Tutor. Going through a lower-middle class urban high school, I was known as that "smart kid" and would often led study groups outside of class to prepare for tests.
