I believe that activities for my classes should be student centered, authentic and focused on individual learning styles. I attempt to create an accepting environment and choose activities that connect learning to something my students know or value. I also obtained an MBA from UAB though my greatest business experience was actually working as a banker for fifteen years. I have a passion for helping youth through my church and have four daughters of my own.

My main goal is teaching a student in a way that they could understand ,as we all know every child needs a different approach.With patients and delligence i will discover a way of getting the child to understand the particular subject to how it best fits them.
I had a great opportunities to help and assist students when i attended high school and college. It gave me a sense of achievement knowing i was helping someone else to achieve thier goals, and bring them to understand things in an easier way. My style focuses on the processes in arriving at a solution. The learning goal in mathematics is to impart understanding of the process of working toward a solution, not attaining the solution. In mathematics as many other endeavors, it is how we proceed to a goal that is important, not the goal itself.
