My comments on tutoring Computer : I've used Microsoft Office regularly, and I've also received training in GIS mapping software and watershed modelling software.

I don't any paid, professional tutoring experience. However, I have volunteered my services to family members and friends. During my sophomore year, I took Organic Chemistry and excelled. However, my friends were struggling. They hated me a bit for how easy it came to me. I decided to tutor them and help them with homework assignments and studying. They ended up doing very well on the exams, allowing them to secure a 3.0 or higher in the course. I also had to regular help my classmates out with more complex problems in Physics. I was not so much tutoring as working together with them on the homework, but still, it involved clear explanation and a thorough knowledge of the subject matter.

I graduated from UT Austin with a BS physics and BA mathematics. I still study both subjects independently to be ready for graduate school. This was well received, provided good experience to students and built good relationship between education and local industry.
