I graduated from Georgia Tech in 2008. In high school I was on the math team all four years. That helped me excel in my math skills. I also tutored my peers my senior year everyday before class started. I currently tutor a high school senior.

I truly enjoy teaching math and enjoy watching the 'click' when a student begins to understand the concepts. I believe many students have been erroneously convinced that "they don't get math" or that math is too hard. I believe in not just working through the problems at hand but in trying to help each student gain a better understanding of the thinking process involved in solving problems. During my Sophomore Year at College of Charleston I worked in the Math Lab tutoring all levels of classical mathematics up to Calculus III. I happened to be the only tutor who checked a box saying I could help high school students, and therefore worked with every family who called the college looking for a math tutor.
