A Little Bit About Me...

I have a diverse field of experience. I received a dual B.A. in Linguistics and Anthropology in 2006. This allows me to understand language tutoring at a deeper level than most tutors. This foundation has been augmented by 5 years of teaching experience in ESOL, History, Academic Writing, and Professional interview training which I have conducted all over the world. In 2009, I received my MA in applied linguistics. This degree worked as a capstone to perfect my teaching style in regards to ESL.
I try to foster independent learners. If the pupil is perpetually dependent on the teacher, then nothing is gained- money and efforts are wasted. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching children of all ages is fun and a good learning experience. Because each child is unique, and with that uniqueness, I treat them as an individual. I believe as an adult, we have to teach the children the right way in life so they can grow up knowing what is right from wrong. I believe, I can give them the tool that will enable them to grow and be a respectable person. I believe, I can make a different in their lives.
After ten years working as a nurse in different facilities, I have finally found what I really like to do most-teaching.I have an MBA in Business Administration which I hope one day will enable me to open and operate my own business. Students learn best when they feel vested in the process of learning and excited about the journey; it is always my goal to convey my passion for the learning experience and my partnership with the student in that process.
