I try to model my own love of learning to my mentee.

I’ve been exploring possible future careers for myself. Recently as I was tutoring one of my classmates with an English assignment, she mentioned to me that I am very easy-going when it comes to helping her learn and understand the assignments. My comments on tutoring Writing : I have a college level education (third year undergrad) in all English areas, however I feel that it would be most efficient to use my knowledge to tutor elementary and high school level English.

I have tutored many young students throughout my life, and have been tutored myself. I do find it easier to work with younger children; however, I am capable of assisting those of high school or college age students who are struggling. I have helped young children learn how to read, write, count, and tell time on an analog clock. Though I do not have strictly professional tutoring experience (I have never been paid for my services) I know how to identify student's learning style(s) and work with them a way that they will benefit from. Have a five year old niece and Japanese students living with us For over a year that I have taught from the basics. I have not only taught others, but I have taught myself in mthy due to horrible teachers in college. Spelling is a natural easy subject for me and have always done well without using a dictionary.
