My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : I have taught many students on how to take a test. We go over many test strategies and ways to help narrow down choices even when you don't know the answer. With all the state tests, children need to be taught these strategies. I teach them to all my students.

I have worked in both counseling positions as well as teaching in many different settings and with students ranging in ages. I have my Masters in Education in school counseling from Hunter College and my B.A. in Psychology from Stony Brook University. My last position as a tutor for students throughout Queens as part of the No Child Left Behind Act. Through this job, I have gained even more knowledge and insight into the daily life of students throughout the New York City area.
