I am a whole brain power teacher. Most of my experience is with exceptional children from a range intelligence. I am preparing to graduate in the spring of 2011 from Mississippi State University with a special education degree. I have been out of college, working in the IT industry for about 8 years now. While in college, I tutored fellow students in the school's lab in the subjects of English and Mathematics. Making concepts clear depends on the teacher who analyze the understading of each individual and teaches him accordingly. As a Math graduate, I wanted to remove hesitation and fear of students for this subject and I became a Math tutor. Since undergraduate work, I have worked in the business world, primarily in the manufacturing arena. My academic experiences have continued on some level. In times past I tutored high school math students in North Carolina. I am proficient is equations, inequalities, Cartesian Coordinate System, polynomials, factoring and functions. My style focuses on the processes in arriving at a solution. The learning goal in mathematics is to impart understanding of the process of working toward a solution, not attaining the solution. In mathematics as many other endeavors, it is how we proceed to a goal that is important, not the goal itself.
