I have tutored fellow classmates in HS. I've taught my nieces and nephew to understand and love mathematics, as well as respect science, which is really just the real-world application of mathematics. I can explain many abstract topics in tangible ways. I love when I see that twinkle in someone's eye when something clicks and they grab onto the topic they once didn't comprehend.

A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my undergraduate experience, I worked with many of my fellow students to help them better understand chemistry concepts. I have gained experience in all of the major fields of chemistry including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student at Rice University, I taught labs for the undergraduate students and was also an exam grader. Furthermore, upon the completion of my doctorate degree in physics, I taught physics for six and a half years at the university level. Following this, I taught mathematics on the high school level and have been a tutor on the high school and middle school level. Thus, I have several years of experience in a teaching or tutoring capacity. As an undergraduate, I completed my degree with a 3.5 grade point average and had all A's and B's during my graduate education.

I really love helping students understand the material. One rule that I do have is that students should at least try and not be lazy about the matter. I remember seeing one quote way back when I first started mathematics, "Mathematics is not a spectator sport."
