A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught two years of middle school and home schooled my daughter. I have worked as a substitute teacher on and off for several years. My emphasis in college was English and Math so I feel very comfortable teaching either of these subjects as well as reading.
My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. For some subjects, repetition is very important and for others a clearer understanding of the concepts involved is more valuable. I like to start with small skills and build on them.

Worked in the field of Medical technology for many years. Taught junior staff and check work for completeness and accuracy. I have studied biology, chemistry and writting. I was instrumental in helping other, particulary doctors in making a correct diagnosis of patients by preforming test and documenting data and explaining results to medical personnel to make a proper diagnosis of patients.
