A Little Bit About Me...

I have held a strong passion for history since I was an undergrad at Radford University. As a graduate student at Hollins University I was able to study a broad spectrum of academic fields with an intense focus on history. I am currently employed at Virginia Western Community College as an adjunct professor of both World and American History. I am also currently applying to Virginia Tech for a PHD in the Study of Science and Technology on Society program. I have worked with children in a variety of settings for ten years. I worked in a preschool for 3 years and did an internship for four months as well as student teaching for sixteen weeks my senior year of college. I graduated Suma Cum Laude and then worked as a long term substitute in Roanoke City Schools. I then taught for one year in Roanoke City schools in a general education classroom.
