Chemistry is one of my top subjects! Chemistry is one of my best subjects. I took Honors Chemistry in tenth grade and AP Chemistry in eleventh. I received an A+ in both for my efforts and a 5 on the AP exam. I was the very best student both years. It is a subject I have already and hope to continue tutoring.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Because I enjoy and see the wonder in science and I like to show that to students. If they see a reason to want the knowledge, and see how it can expand their horizons, then they will be more open to learning. A common problem with individuals needing tutoring is that they sometimes do not think they have the "smarts" to learn the subject. My first objective is to show them they have the "stuff" to get it!
