I love having students learn through a hands-on approach and incorporating as much "real-world" scenarios in my teaching as possible. If students are unable to associate with what they are learning, they are often incapable of really understanding the concepts and retaining what they learn. I stumbled upon the joy of teaching as I helped others learn to dive recreationally in my early 20’s. When I began my real estate career, I worked primarily with first time home buyers, whom I educated constantly. With the housing market collapse my desire to instruct in this manner grew as I segued into the insurance industry, and was given an opportunity to open a branch office and personally train over 50 agents in a one on one capacity over the course of two years.
