My second degree, MS in School Administration, led me to be principal of a high school and a k-12 school. Later, I taught American Government in a Junior College and worked with students with learning disabilities in a University, teaching, testing and writing programs for them to be successful in college. I have over 37 years experience managing peoply in Supply Chain management and material acquisition. In this role I designed and wrote courses. Using Power Point presentations I taught courses in my field to over 100 students in classes as small as ten to as large as fifty. I have always been fascinated with the Spanish language: its phonology, expressions, and many forms of the Spanish language. That love of Spanish caused me to formally study the language, and earn a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish. My interest in Spanish also took me to Paraguay, and Mexico, where I lived for over three years. Many of my employment positions allowed me to use my Spanish communication skills. I have tutored part-time for over 10 years, taught high school, and done some light translation.
I follow the teaching strategy of Total Physical Response with commands, and TPR for stories.
