My comments on tutoring Drama : I have my Associate of Arts degree in Theatre and Communications, so I know how important it is to convey emotion as well as physicality within the context of the theatre as well as real life. I love the creative arts and love helping others understand all the beauty it has to offer.

I don't like to tell you what to learn, but rather guide you to see it for yourself, allowing you to come to the right conclusion on your own. Helping you teach yourself, so that when the time comes for that test or that epic paper, you will know you can do it because you know it.
I have my A.A. degree in Theatre and Communications and will be receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Film Studies in December of 2012. I have experience with children ranging from grades K-12th. I have been a Teacher's Aide since 2004 and a Summer Counselor since 2006. I am also bilingual and although it is not on my list for tutor availability, I do have experience in the language barriers concerning English and the Spanish language. I am the author of five historical novels and a number of articles, poems and short stories. I occasionally do short “residences” teaching Language Arts and Drama to special needs students in k-12 schools for VSA Arts of Florida. My graduate studies emphasized American and Tudor/Stuart History. My doctorate included a Criminal Justice minor. I regularly teach writing and grant writing seminars to adults, usually through libraries on weekends or in the evening.
I believe everyone will respond well to individualized instruction when the tutor studies the student's learning style and offers the information in the form best suited to each learner. I am patient and encouraging with students. I work hard to find ways to present a subject so that each learner will find it interesting.

As stated earlier, All children can learn. I believe that all children have different learning abilities and it takes a positive ad patient teacher to notice and react. I am very patient, caring, and supportive. If a child is struggling to master certain objective, then it is my responsibility to provide all avenues to ensure success. There is no "u" in team. We will all work together to achieve the possible. I work hard with all my students and I never give up. I am an encouraging teacher who insists on making learning fun and interesting.
