Although I do not have a degree in Education, I have years of experience as a teaching assistant, teacher, tutor and curriculum designer. With writing skills, I prefer small groups. This makes it more productive for the learners. I teach with many visual examples and I involve the students in the learning process by helping them to realize their own weaknesses. I believe that students do not know what they are doing wrong unless I shows them along the way. Constructive criticism is integral to the process. I believe that quality trumps quantity. It is better for a student to fully understand the idea even if it means covering less material. One well-written paper is better than five papers that have the same mistakes in them. Studying one Shakespearean play in detail is better than glossing over five in order to say that I covered many plays with the students.
