My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Not prolific on the Histories, but very acquainted with Shakespeare's style of writing. I collect books on Shakespeare and have visited his house and gravesite.

LESSONS SHOULD ACCOMMODATE STUDENT LEARNING STYLES

My belief is that all students have different learning styles. Therefore lessons need to be individualized to meet student needs. In order to be successful students need to be engaged by creative teachers. My teaching experience has taught me to accommodate these needs when developing lesson plans.
I have 15 years of teaching experience with special needs students in a rural school district. During this time i provided private tutoring sessions for Elementary, Middle, High School and College students. A teacher can be anyone, but not everyone can be a teacher. Every child has a unique learning style and it is the job of the teacher to understand this and find the best way to teach the child. A Little Bit About Me...

I spent my entire teaching career at Hammondsport Central School in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. In that time, I taught every level of every grade (7-12). In addition to the basic high school English curriculum, I designed and taught four electives which became a permanent part of the program. I can teach anything in this field, including test preparation. Since I have been retired, I have worked with several Korean students and one Russian one.
I would describe my teaching style as ecclectic. Students learn in different ways which enables me to employ all kinds of methods to tap into any particular learning style. I began teaching in fifth grade when my science teacher conceded that I knew more about sharks than he did, so when we got to that lesson, I took over for two days. In tenth grade, I had an internship at my high school teaching ninth grade Global Studies. When I graduated college, I began substitute teaching while I wrote my first few novels.
