I have 20+ years experience as a teacher, substitute teacher, assistant teacher and tutor in the NY, FL, NH and CT. My most recent experience was teaching several different grades in all subjects in the same NYC School in the Bronx for almost 10 years. I use note-cards and mnemonics. I'm also fond of repetition (which will allow the student to obviously retain the information) and often do reviews at the end of a session to further examine what said student is struggling with. So far I have only tutored one student for a year or so. However, I am very knowledgeable in these subjects and hope to make the best of your child's tutoring experience. And despite my inexperience, I am more than capable of tutoring. I also am willing to respect the established rules and wishes that the student's caretakers have placed upon us meeting.
