My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I believe in a play-based approach to teaching new concepts. My approach to teaching is to generate excitement over learning, which I believe helps cement ideas in young children’s heads. In my early literacy lessons, I play games like "The 3 Strikes Game" or "Backwards Hangman" to reinforce phonics skills.
