I went to school at Miami University in Oxford, OH. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Education. I hold a Master's Degree in Education, with a Spanish major, from Ball State. I am an experienced teacher and I love to work with people. I began my career at Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, IN, and finished it at the middle school level. I hold a teaching license for grades 5 - 12.

As an engineer, I love math, and I love tutoring math. Every student has a different way of learning, and I try to find the best way for every one, playing and learning, real problems applied, flash cards, drawings, etc. I truly believe every body can learn, understand and become to love math in the way that I do. After graduating college, I moved to California to earn my teaching credential. I earned it in K-12 Multiple Subject education. I have have 3 years experience teaching, and currently teach 1st grade in Cincinnati Public schools. I have tutored most all elementary grades, and have about 6 years experience doing so. My first session with the student is when I can determine whether their learning style is visual, audial, tactile, kinesthetic or a combination of these. I then write a prescription of study with the student that include several objectives and a timeline to achieve these goals.
